NiSi True Color ND-Vario 1–5 Stops 82mm

The NiSi True Color ND-Vario 1–5 Stops 82mm gives photographers and filmmakers precise control over exposure. With a variable light reduction of 1 to 5 stops, the filter can easily be adjusted to changing lighting conditions without having to switch filters.

Its density range of ND0.3 to ND1.5 evenly darkens the entire image. This allows you to use slower shutter speeds or wider apertures, even in bright conditions. It is ideal for video recording, portrait photography, landscape photography and other situations where greater control over exposure is required.

Smooth and precise adjustment

The filter strength can be adjusted continuously by rotating the front filter ring. For easier operation, you can attach the included silver adjustment lever. Clear markings on the ring make it easy to reproduce your preferred settings.

Natural colors with True Color technology

Many variable ND filters can introduce a warm or green color cast. NiSi True Color technology is designed to maintain natural and accurate colors, reducing the need for extensive color correction during post-production.

The filter is made from high-quality optical glass and features an advanced Nano coating. This coating is water-repellent, reduces reflections and makes the filter easier to clean.

Compatibility

This filter has an 82mm thread and fits any lens with an 82mm filter thread. Common compatible lenses include:

• Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L III USM
• Canon EF 11-24mm f/4L USM
• Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 14-24mm f/2.8G ED (with adapter)
• Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8E ED VR
• Sony FE 12-24mm f/2.8 GM
• Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II
• Sigma 14-24mm f/2.8 DG DN Art
• Tamron 17-28mm f/2.8 Di III RXD (with step-up ring)

Using a smaller lens? This filter is also compatible with lenses that have a smaller filter thread (e.g. 49mm, 52mm, 58mm, 67mm, 72mm, 77mm) using a step-up ring. A step-up ring adapts the smaller lens thread to 82mm, allowing you to use this filter across multiple lenses — a cost-effective alternative to buying separate filters for each lens.

Not sure about your lens thread size? Check the inside of your lens cap — the diameter is printed there (e.g. ⌀82).
